The NSCS classroom is colorful and ideal for sharing ideas and techniques. There are plenty of worktables for hand building and wheels for throwing. We have a state-of-the-art computerized electric kiln for oxidation firing. Our glaze pantry is complete and available for people interested in glaze chemistry.
Lounge Area
For those of you who enjoy working late at night or just taking a break we have a comfortable lounge area with plush seats, couch, and plenty of Ceramics Monthly Magazines. Just the perfect place to relax!

Started in January of 2006 by Marblehead residents and professional artists Kirsten Bassion and Doreen Mastandrea, the North Shore Clay Studio offers a variety of classes and workshops for students of all levels. The studio is located in the historic Lydia Pinkham Building in Lynn just over the Salem border.
Both teachers have their Masters of Fine Arts in Ceramics and over 36 years of combined teaching knowledge!!
Artist-in-Residence
