Pinch Pots with Ken Goldstrom (6 weeks $185) NEW CLASS Session -- September 13th - October 18th Mondays 7-9 p.m. Instructor- Ken Goldstrom Pinch Pots can be quiet and simple or wonderfully whimscal. Ken Goldstrom is a graduate of RISD and has been working professionally in clay for over 30 years. He is well known for his toy sculptures and bar relief tiles. You can find his work in galleries and museums across the country. We are very excited to have Ken as a visiting teacher. This class with teach you how to use the pinching technique to build small sculptures or functional pieces.
Wheel Wonder Kids (6 weeks $140) Ages 8-13 years old Session -- Sept. 15th - Oct. 20th Wednesdays 3:30-5 p.m. Instructor-Liz Rodriguez note: Children's classes do not include open studio time but all materials and firings are included. Kids will learn the beginning steps of working on a potter's wheel. They will start with simple bowl form, followed by a cylinder form and finally a plate form (if we have time). In addition to throwing, trimming, handles and glazing will be incorporated into the six weeks as well.
Tuesday Morning Clay Class (8 weeks $225) TWO SPOTS LEFT Session -- Sept. 7th - Oct. 26th Tues. 10-12:30 p.m. Instructor- Kirsten Bassion Clay Combo class will cover both wheel-throwing and hand-building. Come learn more about both! Class is great for all levels. We will create usable pottery on the wheel while also creating sculptural projects using hand-building techniques.

Come learn more about both! Class is great for all levels. We will create usable pottery on the wheel while also creating sculptural projects using hand-building techniques.
Artist-in-Residence We have enough space for 18 artists-in-residence who rent access and a loads of shelf space for $100/mo. This includes firings and glazes. This is perfect for artists who want to work on their own. Currently have 4 more spaces for an artist-in-residence. Please contact us if you are interested.
NEXT SESSIONS Nov.-Dec. Sessions will be on the same times and days and will start Nov. 2nd and run through Dec. 23. The Thursday Night Class will have a make-up class or two due to the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays. Jan.-Feb. Classes will begin after New Years Day. They will also run for 8 weeks on the same times and days.
Mosaic Workshop (two days $95) Saturday Aug 21 10-2 p.m. Sunday Aug 22 10-12 p.m. Instuctor- Doreen Mastandrea This two day workshop will teach you all you need know about starting and finishing a mosaic. Be prepared to bring broken china or tiles to break as well as something you are interested in mosaicing. (a mirror frame, a small side table, a flower pot...) This class is for students of all levels.
